Abstract
This document is intended to support the drafting of an access policy specific to the Archives and Manuscripts division (MSS) at the National Library of Scotland (NLS). This policy is intended to detail what users can expect when attempting to access MSS collections. The creation of such a policy was an action mandated as part of the awarding of an Archives Service Accreditation (ASA) in 2019.
